Flavored Spirits


  1. In a one quart jar fill about 1/2 way with your favorite spirit
    1. It should not be top or bottom quality
    2. Suggestions
      • Whiskey
      • Brandy
      • Gin
      • ...
  2. Choose a favorite fruit
    1. For citrusy fruits use the rind
      • Zest or thin slice
    2. For berries slightly crush
  3. Fill the jar to about 3/4 or more full with the flavoring material
  4. Let the fruit steep about 10 days
  5. Drain through a sieve or cheesecloth
  6. Enjoy in your favorite drinks!
